Ms. Renee Joye currently serves as the Benedict College Women’s Business Center case manager as well as the program coordinator for the Business Development Center. With over 25 years of working in the public and private sectors, she has extensive experience providing training and technical assistance to the small business community. Ms. Joye is also an avid fundraiser and community advocate. She currently serves as the executive administrator for the South Carolina Combat Veterans Group, Incorporated.

Ms. Latoya Lindsay serves as the administrative coordinator for the Benedict College Women’s Business Center. As a small business owner herself, Ms. Lindsay realized her desire to help individuals recognize their dreams by leveraging their talents. Ms. Lindsay currently mentors school aged and young professional entrepreneurs who are interested in marketing and developing their businesses. Within the last year, she utilized her own talents and is now the owner of 4Eva Boujee Cosmetics, a line created to showcase the artistic abilities of makeup lovers and restore confidence in people around the world.
Ms. Lindsay’s mission in life is to create a legacy for her son, Asa, and to empower women who are looking to become financially independent. She believes that in order to achieve your dreams you must be dedicated and work hard every day to manifest the life that you want to live.

Ms. Tangie Beaty is the project coordinator for the Benedict College Women’s Business Center. One of the fastest growing and largest urban production companies in the state of South Carolina, is owned and founded by Ms. Beaty. She owns Walking on Water (WOW) Productions, located in Columbia, South Carolina. Ms. Beaty is a national award-winning playwright, film writer, and director. With over 17 years experience, she has produced over 25 theatre productions, co-written three film projects, coordinated national touring stage plays, and has claimed her title in history by opening the first Urban Black Box Theatre in South Carolina.

Donald O. White

Mr. Donald O. White currently serves as the Senior Community Business Advisor. He is a very proud alumni of "The Benedict College". As a native of Saint Matthews, SC, he truly believes in staying connected to his roots and pushing his community forward. He is an avid community advocate, visionary, and entrepreneur.
Donald is truly not afraid of a dance with opportunity and risk. He has worked in the insurance industry as an independent agent for more than 10yrs and the consumer lending and finance industry for 15yrs. He has also owned and managed his social hall "Club Klassic" for many years as well. Even though a victory was not granted, Donald ran for mayor of his hometown, Saint Matthews, SC in 2015 and 2019.
Donald's plans while in this role is very straight forward. He intend to channel all of his knowledge and passion through the BCWBC to impact as many aspiring hearts and minds as possible.

Ms. Michele Dugar currently serve as the business resiliency advisor for the Benedict College Women’s Business Center. Ms. Dugar is both an instructor and marketing practitioner. She welcomes the opportunity to help individuals and organizations “rock out” their brands and increase profits. Her award-winning firm, Vibe Marketing Solutions (formerly Dugar & Associates Marketing), provides strategic plans as well as creative execution consultation. Previous clients have included Wachovia Mortgage and Salvation Army.

Ms. Raquel Thomas currently serves as the business resiliency advisor for the Benedict College Women’s Business Center. Ms. Thomas is a serial entrepreneur turned community builder and servant. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, she took a broken childhood and used it to fuel her passion and purpose. Ms. Thomas has dedicated her life to enriching, empowering and equipping women and children. She is the author of six books, to include: Shifting into Purpose: The Journey to Entrepreneurship, a workbook for novice entrepreneurs, and Wizzieville Adventures, a children’s series of four books that also teaches entrepreneurship.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CONSULTANTS
Technical Assistance Consultants are also available to:
- Conduct education, training and information sessions to assist coronavirus-affected small businesses;
- Provide notable counseling and training programs offered by the WBC;
- Address challenges faced by small businesses after the effects of coronavirus; and
- Assist clients to improve business practices necessary to mitigate the economic effects of COID-19 or similar occurrences.
